After graduating high school in just three years at the age of 16, Armand jumped straight into the workforce and found himself at an IT company that—ironically—specialized in supporting law firms. He started as an administrative assistant and quickly advanced to account manager, where he oversaw bookkeeping, client relations, invoicing, accounts receivable, and dispute resolution for clients generating 7- to 8-figure annual revenues. When the IT company was acquired by a larger firm, Armand relocated to California to pursue a career in track and field while volunteering with community development programs. It was during this time that a mutual friend connected him with a family law attorney in Southern California who needed help with managing clients, invoicing, and collections. Drawing on his previous experience, Armand quickly adapted to the legal space and began to not only deeply understand the day to day challenges small to medium sized law firms face— but more importantly, how do address them. He soon brought Stephen onboard, a lifelong friend, to expand the list of Kollect services, providing a comprehensive solution to any financial need a firm may encounter.
