There are many companies offering AR management and accounting services,
So why should you choose Kollect?

A Comprehensive Solution
At Kollect, our approach to the "accounting process" goes beyond traditional AR management and bookkeeping. We don’t just understand the financial pain points firms face; we provide solutions that address those challenges at every level.
For a firm to maintain smooth operations, seamless coordination between its front-end practice software and back-end accounting is essential. Often, compliance issues arise from minor errors in the front-end—the practice management software. Traditional bookkeeping companies don't use various practice software as we do daily, so they may spot discrepancies in your trust fund accounting but struggle to identify and fix the root cause. They then lack the expertise to prevent these issues from recurring.
Kollect Account Managers, however, offer more than just ensuring payments are collected. Their deep knowledge of your practice software serves as a first line of defense in maintaining balanced books, helping you stay compliant, and esnuring costly mistakes are avoided from the start.

Our Results Speak for Themselves

See for yourself why Kollect is the trusted choice for firms like yours.

ARMAND STEVENS
FOUNDER I CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
After graduating high school in just three years at the age of 16, Armand jumped straight into the workforce and found himself at an IT company that—ironically—specialized in supporting law firms. He started as an administrative assistant and quickly advanced to account manager, where he oversaw bookkeeping, client relations, invoicing, accounts receivable, and dispute resolution for clients generating 7- to 8-figure annual revenues. When the IT company was acquired by a larger firm, Armand relocated to California to pursue a career in track and field while volunteering with community development programs. It was during this time that a mutual friend connected him with a family law attorney in Southern California who needed help with managing clients, invoicing, and collections. Drawing on his previous experience, Armand quickly adapted to the legal space and began to not only deeply understand the day to day challenges small to medium sized law firms face— but more importantly, how do address them. He soon brought Stephen onboard, a lifelong friend, to expand the list of Kollect services, providing a comprehensive solution to any financial need a firm may encounter.
STEPHEN RYKWALDER
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
With a career foundation built at PwC, where he earned his CPA license and developed a strong expertise in audit and compliance, Stephen Rykwalder brings over 15 years of diverse accounting and advisory experience. His background includes external audit at PwC, financial roles within two of the world's largest banks, internal audit roles at two international, publicly traded companies—one of which is a Fortune 500 company—where he implemented and led a data analytics & robotics department within internal audit. Stephen was offered a conditional appointment to become a Special Agent with the FBI, a testament to his integrity, analytical skills, and professional track record. However, he chose to follow his entrepreneurial spirit and focus on building his own businesses. Over the years, he has launched multiple ventures, invented a proprietary product, and provided hands-on financial management for more than 100 small businesses—covering everything from bookkeeping and payroll to tax preparation and regulatory filings. Today, Stephen specializes in serving law firms from a CFO and bookkeeping perspective, bringing clarity and structure to the complexities of trust accounting and legal compliance. His mission is to simplify financial operations for attorneys, ensuring they remain confident, compliant, and focused on practicing law.
